Guidance, Child, Parent, Man, Parental, Life, Example, Education The role of parental guidance in human life

The life of a child in the modern world without adult intervention is unthinkable. At the same time, the problem remains that many children consider the help of their parents in some cases to be an unnecessary hassle. This is why disagreements sometimes arise between these two age categories.

A competent and thoughtful choice of methods in raising a child plays a huge role in his fate. However, an individual approach is necessary in order to provide him, on the one hand, with freedom of choice, and on the other, not to leave him without control, imperceptibly influencing his consciousness.

Parents are the people who are closest to their children. Therefore, they should become role models, demonstrating their wisdom, calmness and confidence, so that the child wants to repeat his thoughts, actions, and deeds. It is in this case that the family becomes an ideal.

In Russian literature there are many similar examples of the negative and positive influence of parents. In A. S. Pushkin’s work “The Captain’s Daughter,” the author demonstrates one of the positive aspects of a mentor in relation to his son. His influence turns out to be so strong and has the right direction that time makes Petrusha a worthy person.

Mrs. Prostakova has a detrimental effect on her son Mitrofan in D. I. Fonvizin’s comedy “The Minor.” Having incorrect ideas about education and upbringing, she herself turns her son into someone like herself - an uneducated, ill-mannered person.

The guidance of parents gives a certain strength to the child, shaping his character. Over time, they pass on all their experience acquired over the years to their children, creating a healthy atmosphere around them. However, the concept of “the role of parental guidance” occurs at any age. There are often cases when a person in his third or fourth decade is in dire need of advice from his elderly parents. Therefore, there is an inextricable, strong connection between all generations. The older generation is an example, hope, mentor and helper for the younger one. Children reflect any actions of mothers and fathers, who themselves create an atmosphere for imitation around them. This is how life experience is passed on to students and children. This is an invaluable moment for older people, for them this is the meaning of life. How seriously a child listens to the instructions of his parents determines his success in life.

Thus, for the dreams of children and their parents to come true, constant dialogue in relationships, trust and love is necessary. These components become a solid foundation in the destinies of families. And the power of parental guidance lies in true human qualities - love, honesty, justice and respect, thanks to which, as the child grows up, he can easily overcome any obstacles.

Option 2

The parental word is of great importance for almost every person. It is not for nothing that earlier people were so reverent about parental blessings and some similar matters.

Today, the tradition is gradually disappearing, however, the situation does not change significantly.

The only problem is that people are gradually becoming smaller, and, accordingly, the instructions are also becoming smaller. If an adult throughout his entire existence lived only by personal petty interests, looking only for his own benefit in everything, what will he teach a child about?

It also happens that if a child is raised by school and television, which instill illusory images of human prosperity and confuse guidelines, then how can the child receive instructions from a parent who belongs to a different era, has different values and completely different experience?

As such, the transfer of experience has always been the basis for the development of mankind, but it was precisely what experience was transferred that determined the further path. Suppose there is a certain parent who works in an enterprise and sees the main goal in work, simple entertainment and something similar, what will he teach the child about?

Of course, such a parent will convey exactly his own experience; it is unlikely that he will really talk about something sublime and some kind of super goals. Nevertheless, there is nothing terrible in this, this is how ordinary people are brought up, often decent, as they say, the salt of the earth. It makes sense that the experience of simple practical wisdom should be passed on.

Suppose there is a certain parent who has never thought at all about how to be a parent and what the parental task is. What kind of experience will he offer his child then? Most likely, these instructions will not be systematic and structured, the child will simply receive some scraps of the adult’s personality, habits, etc.

That is why, it seems to me, the role of parental guidance is to convey something especially valuable, some ideals that an adult could understand and realize, some experience that is truly worthy of being a human experience and continuing its path through the ages. From parent to child and then to the new child from the previous one who has become a parent, parental instructions are transmitted, the role of which is in the transmission of human experience.

The role of parental guidance in human life.

Parental guidance plays a huge role in the life of every person. From childhood, our parents raise us and try to instill in us all the best qualities. The basis of a person’s character, the basis for understanding the world around him, is, of course, parental education.

As they say: the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. But it’s true that in each of us you can find the imprint of our parents. I am proud of my upbringing, proud of my parents, who instilled in me from childhood that no matter what difficult situations there may be in my life, first of all I need to remain human. I can say with confidence that all the good qualities that I possess were passed down to me from my parents. But, unfortunately, not everyone can boast of an excellent upbringing. Perhaps parents paid little attention to such children or did not care about them at all. In any case, whatever the upbringing, it leaves a huge mark on a person’s life.

We often encounter this problem on the pages of Russian literature. Writers have returned to it more than once, each time showing it from a new side.

So in the work of L.N. Tolstoy “War and Peace” we can most clearly consider this problem. In the Rostov family, everything was built on sincerity and kindness, so the children - Natasha, Nikolai and Petya - became truly good people, and in the Kuragin family, where career and money decided everything, both Helen and Anatole were immoral egoists. In I.A. Goncharov’s novel “Oblomov” we can also analyze this issue. Ilya Ilyich spent his childhood on the family estate Oblomovka. He was a playful boy. Little Ilya, like all children, wanted movement, new impressions, but his parents protected him in every possible way from unnecessary worries and forbade him to show any freedom. The atmosphere of laziness, reluctance to think and learn disfigures Ilya’s soul. He entered adulthood unadapted.

There are also situations in life when parents love their child so much, I would even say idolize them, that they allow him to do whatever he wants. But this, as everyone knows, does not always end well. Let's consider this example based on the work of A.G. Aleksin “Mad Evdokia”. Olenka, the heroine of the story, is a talented girl, but selfish, spoiled by her father and mother. Blind parental love gave rise to Olya’s belief in her exclusivity. Reluctance to understand the feelings and experiences of loved ones and friends leads to a severe illness for the mother.

In conclusion, I would like to add that parents have a huge responsibility for raising children. And for the child, in turn, education plays a huge role. After all, the foundation of our worldview is laid in childhood, and it depends to a large extent on our parents what kind of people we will become.

The role of parental guidance in human life

What does “instruction” mean? According to the dictionary of D. N. Ushakov, this word is called “edifying, moralizing instruction.”

Even the ancient Chinese thinker Confucius, in his book “Judgements,” spoke about human responsibilities: the kindness of a father, the respect of a son, the benevolence of elders and the obedience of younger ones.

The sage considered all this the basis of philanthropy. In his opinion, the health of society depends on the correct order of relationships in the family.

The role of the father’s instructions and the mother’s covenants is also spoken of in the parables of Solomon, included in the text of the Bible. The “Parable” was created for the purpose of learning wisdom and instruction, and learning the rules of prudence. When reading the text, young men can gain knowledge and prudence, the wise can increase their knowledge, and the intelligent can find wise advice.

What is the role of parental guidance in a person's life?

...and the instructions of parents sometimes play a decisive role in the life of every person. The words of parents never go unnoticed for a child. This must be understood and taken into account when raising children, because their fate is largely in the hands of their parents. ...

A proverb in Russian folklore says: “An order does not break the back of an obedient son of his fathers.” There is also: “The parent’s word is not spoken.”

Statements from ancient Russian literature about the law of life, which states that “children and parents should take care of each other,” have also reached our time. And the phrase: “What you raise in childhood, you will rely on in old age” speaks of the role of parental guidance in education.

Due to the fact that in our time there is a change in life guidelines, young people need instructions that, first of all, instill moral principles. Often young people refuse the advice of the older generation, which leads to negative consequences.

If teenagers perceived the teachings from works of art and listened to the instructions of their parents, then many life mistakes could be avoided.

Advice is especially helpful during adolescence. It is at this time, being in a difficult psychological state, that a teenager needs someone’s guidance. He needs stability and a foundation to lean on.

Is it important to receive guidance from family at an older age? Of course, when resolving important issues, the life experience and example of parents plays a big role.

Lessons for my peers.

A long time ago, one wise Russian prince Vladimir Monomakh composed “Teachings...” for his subjects. He sincerely believed that if people lived by these rules, then everyone would be happy. I also want people to be healthy, strong, and wise. Read what I wrote here.

I want to tell you about my teachings, how small and adult new people should behave or what they should be afraid of, what or whom they should honor, what they should be passionate about or rejoice at. I have a desire to show what, in my opinion, every self-respecting citizen should be. I think due to the fact that I noticed how our Russian society began to degrade morally, like my peers are growing up. These are not those children of “perestroika” or “the nineties.” Now cruel children are growing up. Sometimes you are walking along a city alley full of people, and you hear a group of children walking, loudly and strongly swearing. So now I will tell you about everything.

In general, first of all, we must honor and respect our elders. Teach to take care and protect the younger ones, and set a true example. Everyone should know their family, their roots, their grandparents. Everyone should have courtesy and gratitude. In our difficult times, it is so rare to see such “peculiarities” in people.

Honor God, your father, the progenitor of our world. For example, if you feel bad, go to church, confess to God, the father of the whole world. He will not persecute you, a sinner, but will accept all your sins, you will see tears and pain, your soul will become lighter and lighter.

Love animals, our smaller brothers. Do not be indifferent to the bones of a homeless dog, wandering through the city streets, like a ball of happiness, love and goodness, not finding peace for itself. All animals love people, and, in general, all cattle love much better and more sincerely than humans.

Give to the homeless and those in need of money, clothing or food. Do good and teach others. Don't do evil. When your mind is clouded by anger, try to suppress it within yourself, strive for the light, love goodness and do it.

Improve yourself. Do not have the habit of valuing a person for his rank. Respect must be present for everyone and everything.

Love nature: dense and dense forests, coniferous fir trees and blond birches, the blue river that feeds you with its water, keep the forest clean. Do not offend, do not destroy the wondrous beauty. In the forest you can also find a connection with body and spirit, and achieve spiritual peace. In the forest, the right thoughts come to mind. It doesn’t matter what religion, nationality, or country you are from, the main thing is what kind of person you are. Whoever you are, be a citizen of your country, love your country, be a true patriot. Although not all people understand what it means to truly LOVE YOUR HOMELAND, PARENTS, FRIENDS, just PEOPLE, but I hope that people will think and understand before it’s too late.

Let people see everything that I wrote, everything that has accumulated in my mind. I will consider that I have achieved my goal if my “teaching” is read by as many people as possible. And they not only read it, but also thought about it, and understood it, each to himself.

The role of the father in the life of a child

The father in the family has always been a support for his children and an example to follow.

So, imitating his father, the hero of I. A. Goncharov’s novel “Oblomov” Ilya Ilyich became the same lazy philosopher as his parent.

The protagonist's father either put things off until later, or did everything superficially, lazily.

The author called Oblomov’s main business to be walking from corner to corner, which was passed on to him by inheritance. The payback for paternal upbringing, and in this case the lack of it, was the hero’s maturation as a worthless, failed person.

We see another image of the father in the work of Russian classics in the novel by A. S. Pushkin “The Captain's Daughter”. The upbringing of Pyotr Grinev, the main character, was influenced by his parent, Andrei Petrovich Grinev.

Thanks to him, the views and character of a real officer with high moral and volitional qualities were formed. For Pyotr Grinev, the parting words his father gave to his son at parting were important.

The popular proverb, which became the epigraph to the novel, defines the main thing that his father taught the hero - “Take care of honor from a young age.” Andrei Petrovich advises his son to serve faithfully to whom you pledge allegiance. He advises not to chase affection, not to ask for service and not to talk yourself out of service.

In difficult moments, the hero remains an honest and decent person. Pyotr Grinev remains faithful to his oath, stands up for the honor of the heroine, and shows himself to be a worthy successor to his parent.

The events described in the novel confirm that the principles of honor, formed under the influence of his father, helped the hero become happy.

The role of the mother in the life of the child

No less important in a child’s life is the influence of the mother, the first teacher, educator, friend and assistant. It depends on her role how the character will be formed and what the fate of her children will be.

It’s not for nothing that there is a saying in ancient Russian literature: “A bad fisherman means bad nets, a bad mother means bad children.”

Mothers do not lecture, they provide comfort and tranquility with their attitude, their love, and set an example of relationships both in the family and in the environment. They also help in determining life values through personal example.

For every mother, the real treasure is her children. And the biggest punishment for her is when she realizes that the child did not live up to her hopes. Often for this reason, mothers overprotect their children.

We see an example of this in I. A. Goncharov’s novel “Oblomov”. The constant care of the mother, the fulfillment of any desire of her own son, attempts to eliminate difficulties from his life, contributed to the formation of an apathetic, lethargic and lazy Ilya Ilyich.

Examples of parental guidance in the literature

Examples described in literary works indicate that parental guidance shapes not only the personality and character of the child, but also influences his future fate.

The comedy by D. I. Fonvizin “The Minor,” written in the 18th century, touches on a topic that is relevant today - instilling in children a sense of duty to their homeland.

From Starodum, the uncle and guardian of the main character Sophia, we hear instructions in the form of rules, principles, moral laws that help a person become “curious.” He teaches his niece to distinguish the real from the imaginary, external splendor from internal dignity.

The guardian’s statements still sound like aphorisms. For example, if you have a heart and soul, you will be a man at all times. He considered good behavior to be the main goal of all human knowledge. Sophia believes that her uncle’s instructions constitute her entire well-being; they help her distinguish “evil” people and make her want to show them the baseness of their souls.

The second main character, Mitrofanushka, is given instructions by his ignorant mother, who denies the benefits of learning. She believes that education should be just for show, and the main thing in life is having money and a high position in society.

Mitrofanushka grows up to be a slacker and a proud person, ill-mannered and lazy, a cynic and a rude person. He even treats his mother without due respect and brushes her off like an annoying fly. Mitrofanushka has no idea of any sense of duty even to her parents.

Essay on the topic: “Teachings of Vladimir Monomakh”

Studying ancient Russian literature, we come across the teachings of Vladimir Monomakh, which he addressed to his sons, but it turned out that the significance of the teachings is great, and therefore they are relevant even in our time. This is like a will that the prince left not only to his children, but also to us, the readers. And now, many centuries later, the teachings of Monomakh guide everyone on the true path and touch upon moral and political issues. Thanks to the essay for grade 7, we will learn about the instructions and a short biography of the prince with a letter to Oleg Svyatoslavich. Now let's write an essay on the topic: Teachings of Vladimir Monomakh.

Vladimir Monomakh teaching

Vladimir Monomakh, Prince of Kiev, was the most authoritative prince of the Russian land and ruled at the turn of the 11th-12th centuries. At this time he writes his instructions. First of all, in my essay-reasoning, moral instructions should be noted. The prince calls not to forget God, not to be proud, to be kind and respect elders. Monomakh calls not to be lazy, to avoid lies, to help the weak, the disadvantaged, and to support widows and orphans. In his teachings, Vladimir gives a lot of practical advice, including not trampling other people’s crops, learning languages and the like. The prince calls for special attention to be paid to guests.

What does Monomakh teach? It seems to me, first of all, the prince teaches relationships between people, talks about self-improvement and the need to adhere to moral principles.

At the same time, the prince speaks not only about everyday advice. He also touches on political issues, showing how important it is to stop civil strife that harms the country's economy. He says how much these civil strife weaken the state. In the Instructions, the prince calls for public order. Vladimir also points out that the good of the state and its people is in the hands of the princes. It is very important to rule in peace, which leads any state to prosperity.

Getting acquainted with Monomakh in his teachings, I note that the prince was educated, well-read, erudite, he was a champion of enlightenment. He believed that the prince is a role model, an example for others, so you need to be worthy of this high title.

What is striking in the work is the letter to his brother, who was the murderer of Vladimir’s son. We see that the prince forgives the murderer. As for me, this is a strong act, I would never be able to forgive the killer, although I understand that at that time, during wars, deaths were a common occurrence.

I will conclude my essay “The Teachings of Vladimir Monomakh in the 7th grade” with the opinion that the teachings written to my sons are wonderful, valuable and most importantly, they are relevant to this day.

Save it to your wall so you don’t lose it!

The author of the comedy shows how improper parenting cripples a person

, they are shown “the worthy fruits of evil.”

Using the example of the main character of the comedy “Woe from Wit” by A. S. Griboyedov, Alexei Molchalin, one can see how his father’s instructions helped him achieve success, but contributed to the emergence of negative character traits.

The main advice was the desire to “please all people without exception.” To be pleasing to anyone, from the owner of the house and the boss at work to the janitor's dog. Alexey Molchalin is a person with hypocrisy and a desire to please everyone around him. Readers are presented with a flattering and vile type, who is also unpleasant with his sycophancy.

Another negative character is described in N.V. Gogol’s poem “Dead Souls” - Pavel Chichikov. He is distinguished by his heartlessness, hypocrisy, and sycophancy. Chichikov has no friends; he gives himself entirely to the “penny”. His father’s words and his instructions made him this way.

14 pp., 6573 words

What role does the personal example of parents play in raising children?

...in relation to Chatsky. Based on all of the above, we can say that it is the advice and instructions of parents that sometimes play a decisive role in the life of every person. The words of parents never go unnoticed for a child. ...

Everything that Chichikov’s parent taught him came down to money, profit and the ability to take care and save a “penny” as the most reliable thing in the world. In his opinion, people should be chosen only who are necessary and useful. Such instructions contributed to the education of a person without moral qualities, a swindler without principles.

It's nice to read about the relationship between father and son in L.N. Tolstoy's novel "War and Peace." Andrei Bolkonsky meets with his parent, Nikolai Bolkonsky, before leaving for the front. The reserve of both cannot hide their love and respect for each other.

The elder Bolkonsky appears before readers as a man of honor, a fair and noble person. This is how we see the younger Bolkonsky. A real officer, not one serving others; a patriot and a decent, fair person. The basis of Andrei’s behavior was inspired by his father; his personality was formed in the family from childhood.

Analyzing works of Russian literature, one can see how parental instructions influenced the formation of the characters’ characters and their future destinies. Nowadays, unfortunately, family ties are weakening, which means that younger people are less likely to listen to the instructions of their elders.

When writing the final essay in December and preparing for the Unified State Exam, I had to pay attention to this important topic. And as a conclusion, the idea arose about what kind of parent you need to be for your children.

The main thing in their upbringing is not teaching, but life example. The inextricable connection between generations is influenced by the acceptance and assimilation of the experience of elders, which should be useful and should play a positive role in the fate of the younger ones.
