Essay Independence, what is independence? 9th grade 15.3 reasoning

Since childhood, parents have been trying to teach their children to be independent. The same first step of a child, because he took it himself. After all, everything begins from the smallest moments.

Next comes our first grade, which is where we are taught to be independent. The child is not alone in the class and will not be given all the attention, and it follows that it will be quite difficult for him to begin with. But it is precisely from such difficulties that in the future everything works out. It is school that gives us those skills that will soon be very useful to us in the future. And after 9 grades, we first receive knowledge and incomplete secondary general education, and then skills in independent life. If you are not ready yet and want to get a general secondary education, then go up to 11th grade. But after finishing school, we approach a more independent life, because after that children leave their parents and make their own lives for themselves.

But what happens is that it upsets many that some do not understand this concept and cannot be like that. Independence also means being responsible for your actions and your words. And of course, be able to support yourself in terms of material needs.

By law, an eighteen-year-old is considered an adult, and that is, an independent person. But this is only according to the Constitution, but in life it can be completely different. These are just some social norms that people are trying to follow. There are times when children, who are no longer children by age, want only to be with their parents, and for them to decide everything for them. Unfortunately, many do not want to think about their future and do not even want to, and it turns out that they become not independent in life.

It also happens in life that we meet people who have matured before their age. Namely, children without parents, and they should already take care of themselves and decide everything for themselves. I believe that it is very difficult for such little people and every country is trying to somehow help such children. It happens that parents care very much about their children and decide everything for them, and do not give them any work, even around the house. But in the future, when they leave their parents, it will be very difficult for them to even earn enough to eat.

It is worth remembering that the best thing is when the child grows up on time and in stages. And let us note that children are the most beautiful thing that can be in this world, because they are the ones who give every adult a ray of light. I believe that every adult should remember that children should learn independence from childhood and prepare them for the future life.

Option 2

Everyone knows the term “independence,” but not many understand the meaning of this word. Not every person is independent.

What kind of person is independent?

Firstly, a person who sets goals for himself and achieves them himself can be called independent. An independent person has his own informed opinion and does not follow other people’s lead. For example, upon graduating from school, a child chooses a specialty - this is his goal. In this case, it is not the parents who decide for the child, but the child himself. If the parents disagree, he will be able to defend his point of view and explain his choice. To achieve his goal, he chooses a suitable university, prepares to successfully pass the entrance exams, enrolls and studies without debt.

Secondly, an independent person supports himself both financially and physically. And he doesn’t sit on his parents’ necks. For example, a student gets a part-time job. Receiving a small salary, he can pay for his lunches at college, buy some clothes or gifts for loved ones for the holidays. In addition, he can cook dinner himself, wash the dishes or tidy up the room. There is no need to ask or force him, he himself knows and understands that this is necessary.

Thirdly, an independent person cares not only about himself, but also about those around him and takes responsibility. For example, having picked up a kitten on the street, a child takes care of it: feeds, waters, treats, and so on. He knows that having sheltered an animal, he himself is responsible for it. Or, for example, many people take care of their already elderly parents. They often come to them, bring medicine, prepare lunches, help around the house, and provide financial support.

An independent person is an individual with his own worldview. This is an adult, fully prepared for a life that he himself can create and provide. Prepared for a life in which mistakes are possible. And he will only blame himself for them, and correct them on his own. A person who can take care and help if needed.

In our lives, we often see those who have matured too early.
Most often, these are children from dysfunctional or large families, where everyone has to take care of themselves while helping their parents raise their younger brothers and sisters. Children who have lost their parents and those who live with elderly grandparents grow up early. In order for a child to grow up on time, parents must teach him to be independent from childhood. 5th grade is the time when a child can easily wash the dishes after himself or help his mother set the table or clean his room. Many mothers care too much about their children and even at the age of eighteen do not let them into the kitchen to cook something or help with cleaning. This attitude only causes harm. It is they who, first of all, become those who are ready to sit on their parents’ necks all their lives. We can say that it is not even their fault that they cannot fry eggs or cook simple soup, wash dishes or wash dirty laundry - they were not taught this in childhood. It is in childhood that the qualities necessary for any personality are laid in a person. You can “make” anything out of a small child, because he listens to everything that is told to him, his character is just beginning to form, and therefore he accepts everything that is put into him. This is why the process of proper upbringing and teaching independence is so important. A child looks at the world differently than an adult. As Antoine de Saint-Exupery rightly noted in his most famous work, “The Little Prince,” adults think only about numbers and their own benefit, they are not able to see beauty in everything, even in what seems ordinary or ugly. It is children who make our world a better place, which is why it is so important that they grow up in due time. An independent person is one who can take care of other people, and it does not matter at all whether he is a relative or just a stranger. Independence is closely related to humanity; these are one of the most important qualities that define a mature personality, which every person should be. It is very important for any person, which is why at school they often write essays on the topic of independence. The essay allows you to think: “Am I independent?” and perhaps change your point of view on this matter. Independence is an important part of growing up. I believe that only an independent person can fully call himself an adult, and this is very important. Independence is an important quality of a person’s personality. This is a self-service skill, for example: cooking your own food, cleaning up after yourself, washing your things, cleaning up the house. Be able to make decisions yourself, be responsible for your words and actions. Unfortunately, not every person can be called independent. Often, parents raise their children incorrectly, discouraging this quality from them. For example, one of my friends, when he comes home from school, his mother always sets the table for him to eat. He pours soup, cuts bread, pours and brings tea. It’s certainly good that his mother takes care of him. But this guy never had to do it himself, and that's bad. His mom just didn't teach him. She constantly stopped any of his attempts to do anything: “Don’t touch the knife, I’ll cut it myself,” “I’ll salt the water from the pasta myself, otherwise you’ll get burned!” etc. Over time, he got used to the fact that they always brought him everything beautifully laid out on plates. One day, when I was visiting him and his parents were at work, we wanted to drink tea. Imagine, he didn’t know where the mugs and spoons were! He searched for sugar and tea for a long time, and could not cut the bread evenly! I was of course very surprised. It was high time to learn such simple things. To be honest, I'm proud of my independence. I am grateful to my parents for teaching me this. I recently turned fourteen years old and it’s time to get a passport. I myself went and collected all the necessary documents, took photographs, sat in queues and talked with the employees of the passport office. And many were surprised that I came without mom or dad. My classmates also say that their parents did this whole procedure for them. I think this is wrong. Everyone should be more independent, because this will help in the future. Very soon, we will all go to study in other cities. There will be no one there to do everything for us. Self-reliance also means helping others. For example, help mom wash the dishes, go grocery shopping, or vacuum. It is important to do this without mom’s prompts or requests. Just notice that she needs help. And then she will know that she has raised an independent and almost adult person. If a person does not know how to take care of himself, does not know how to stand up for himself or make any decision himself, then it will be difficult for him. And it’s more pleasant to do something yourself, rather than wait for everything to be presented to you. 9th grade, 15.3. OGE

Each of us has been familiar with the concept of independence since childhood. But not every person really understands the full meaning of this word; we cannot call everyone independent. What is independence? Independence is one of the personality traits that plays a big role in the life of any adult. This is not just the ability to make decisions without the help of other people, it is, first of all, the ability to be responsible for one’s actions and deeds. To be independent means to be able to provide yourself with everything you need in life, to have your own point of view, separate from others, your own worldview and views. Despite the fact that, from a legal point of view, a person who has reached the age of eighteen is considered an adult, in reality, few people become adults by the age of thirty. Until old age, people are ready to sit on their parents’ necks, living entirely at their expense. They do not want to receive a good education and reject any job offer, dreaming of getting big money for their ignorance. Living without doing anything or making decisions is quite normal for them. It's a shame that now almost every third teenager thinks this way. They forget that parents do not last forever, which means that someday they will have to take care of themselves on their own. But how to do this if you don’t know how to do anything?

To be independent or not, everyone decides for themselves. For some, it is easier and more convenient to depend on others, to implement other people’s decisions rather than their own, but at the same time to be protected from mistakes and failures. And if, nevertheless, something unfavorable happens, then there is always someone to shift the responsibility to - “I didn’t decide that!” " Other people are much more comfortable doing what they consider necessary, doing as they themselves decide: freedom of choice, responsibility for the choice made and independence in decision-making. And this concept has not lost its relevance for almost a century. If we think about it, we will see that an independent person has a much greater chance of realizing himself in life and getting real pleasure from it, since he did it all himself! After all, such a person can choose a profession based on his own interests and abilities! He has the opportunity to take a risk and open his own business, which, of course, may fail, but they say: it’s better to regret what you did, rather than what you didn’t do! If successful, a person receives what he has been striving for: monetary profit, a scientific discovery, a valuable acquisition, or simply joy and positive emotions. And in case of failure, experience appears - the most valuable thing in modern life. Try to get a job somewhere without having enough experience! Of course, MirSovetov does not claim that all the above decisions and achievements require only independence! Certain character qualities, abilities, and luck are also required. But the person for whom they chose a university, a profession, a wife or husband, the color of Masha, will not even have the opportunity to try to do something on their own and feel extraordinary joy and pride in themselves: “I am myself! "

Essay What is independence

All people are different, which means that all people have completely different characters and completely different values in life, from which we can conclude that you cannot judge all people only on the basis of some kind of stereotype or only personal opinion.

A lot of people have good character traits, just as a lot of people have character traits that aren't so good. One way or another, any person is good, at least because he is unique and there is no one like him. That is why it is necessary to respect a person and his freedom of choice and personality.

But today I consider this character trait as independence. Independence is a person’s ability to solve his problems, looking for a way out of them himself, to make decisions independently, regardless of anyone else. A truly independent person will never obey anyone or listen to advice on things that the person himself is well aware of.

A person is not born independent. He develops this independence through long and hard work on himself and the formation of his personality as an independent subject of the social environment in which he finds himself. Also, independence and its development can be influenced by various factors in a person’s life. For example, he may become independent because he has no one left who can help him with something. And it also happens that people themselves choose the goal of becoming as independent and independent as possible as early as possible. These people are usually very strong by nature, since they decide to separate from, for example, their parents and become completely independent people. But also the development of independence is useful for people who cannot call themselves strong personalities with true composure towards life. If you gradually develop independence, this will contribute to the rapid formation of the individual as an independent and separate unit of society. This is precisely why independence training and its subsequent development are useful.

Well-developed independence will be an excellent plus for your personal life, and subsequent life apart from your family. In this essay, I described my subjective opinion about the topic of independence. Since the opinion is subjective, it does not claim to be true.
