The appearance depends on the manifestation of breed qualities. The domestic animal cat has an elegant, often muscular body about 60 cm long. Although the record holder among cats has grown to almost 122 cm! Nature has arranged it in such a way that the weight category of females is always less than that of males, and on average the weight of these animals varies from 2.5 to 15 kg. History of domestication of cats

If the color of the fur was black, then it was almost impossible for its owner to survive: the animal was blamed for hunger, and for the invasion of diseases, and simply for the failures of people.
In the 18th century, the Inquisition became a thing of the past, and kindness returned to the purring animal.
The first cat show opened in 1871 and since then has become a regular event in the lives of cats and their lovers.

One day I was walking down the street and saw a cat sitting, she was dirty and thin. But behind this I saw her coat color, it was amazing, I had never seen such a color before. She sat and looked at me with such sad, hungry eyes that I thought: “I’ll go to the store and buy her something to eat.” Walking into the store, I thought about what to buy her and settled on kiteket. When I returned, I saw her, she was sitting and waiting for me, as if she knew that I would return to her. I gave her something to eat, she ate it slowly, chewing every bite. Seeing that she had finished eating, I decided to go further where I was going. And she sat and looked after me.
I felt so sorry for her that I stopped abruptly and thought about everything again. Walking back towards her, I saw her come to life before my eyes. Taking her in my arms, I saw that her eyes were so sparkling with happiness that she had a permanent owner.
At first, I gave her the name Sonya, and then we went to the veterinarian and examined her and they told me that everything was fine with her, the tests were all good. Sonya received several vaccinations, and we went home with her. When I got home, I fed her and then washed her. She really enjoyed washing, she didn’t even move, after washing her, I saw her extraordinary beauty. She really liked it with me.

I consider myself to be one of the first, although I also love dogs very much. Yes, cats and dogs are completely different, but, nevertheless, there is something in common between cats and dogs: both of them are capable of loving a person, their owner, and being faithful and devoted friends to us, people, no matter how long someone nor talked about cat egoism.
It’s just that a cat shows love in a completely different way, in a cat’s way. When she greets you from school, she will not jump, she will not dance around you like crazy to express her wild delight at the end of an almost endless separation. And even if she never, under any circumstances or in any way shows that she even notices that the owner goes somewhere and is absent from time to time, this does not at all mean that she loves her owner less than a dog. After all, a cat is an extremely reserved and tactful creature. She will not tolerate the slightest hint of rudeness or unceremoniousness in treating her from anyone, including her owner, and she behaves accordingly. A cat's emotions are buried somewhere deep. In a word, I like that cats naturally behave as if they were aristocratic people. But this restraint is only one side, the external one: it is their style, their demeanor. The other side is internal: cats are very affectionate and sensitive, and this alone makes them attached to themselves.
They also have one more feature that personally touches me - this is that in some ways they resemble very small children: they are just as capricious, self-willed and, by the way, self-centered.
And how beautiful they are! I like all cat breeds. I love smooth-haired, fluffy, gray, red, white, and black - all kinds!
Any cat is very interesting to watch, even if it is not your cat. Communication with a cat relieves stress, it seems that this has already been scientifically proven. This is probably why many people, especially those who do not have the opportunity to keep animals at home, like to view cat photos and videos posted on the Internet. Yes, cats have gained wild popularity on the Internet, and well done, beauties!
Who can compare with cats in grace, grace, dexterity, coquetry, affectation and unpredictability? Who can understand what the mysterious cat eyes are saying? And the purring? - Whiskers, scientifically called vibrissae, help cats navigate in space even in the dark.
- The eyes can see objects in front and to the sides. This vision helps the cat determine the shape of an object and the distance to it. All breeds of these animals distinguish primary colors, but not as brightly as humans. Cats' eyes work like batteries, storing energy throughout the day, so they glow in the dark. This same property helps them move confidently in unlit rooms and on the street.

Scottish lop-eared
A few years ago there was an addition to our family. We bought a dark gray Scottish Fold kitten. Now she is an adult, cultured cat who loves solitude. But she always comes out to meet us at the door when we come home and watches with interest as our parents unpack the packages.
Grandma called her "Sheraya" and I decided to name her Cherry. We affectionately call her Cherusya, Cherka, Cherundel.
Our Cheruska is very funny - she loves to watch flying pigeons. We live on the ninth floor and they often sit on the roof above our window and coo. To the delight of our big-eyed lump. At such moments, she sits tucked up, as if preparing to jump.
Cherry also loves to climb into various boxes and rustling bags. A curious little face tries to fit into even the smallest box. She probably thinks she's still a little kitten. Cherka loves to hide, no one knows where. Sometimes we spend hours looking for a lady. Sometimes it ends up in a bag. But we still uncovered a couple of places - these are the shelves of the closet and the drawer with linen in the bathroom. You can't immediately see her in the dark. The secret is revealed when one of the family takes a bath, and Cherry, hearing the sounds of water, runs away rather out of fear. She used to hide at the bottom of the stroller, in the compartment for food and other things. But after one incident, this place became not her favorite.
For some reason, Cherry doesn’t drink tap water, but only boiled water. And he only eats one type of food. We got a picky pet. And my responsibilities include monitoring the presence of water and food in Cherusya’s bowl.
Cherusya is very kind and responsible. She never scratches my little sister, who sometimes torments the cat. And when Aliska was just a baby, Cherry sat by the crib and protected the baby’s sleep while her mother was busy in the kitchen.
It’s a pity that Cherry doesn’t often allow herself to be petted, she immediately grumbles. Friends of our family are veterinarians and say that this is a feature of the breed.
One day a funny incident happened to Chera. It was winter. My little sister is a couple of months old. The whole family went for a walk. Mom was pushing a stroller, dad was pushing me in a tube. After walking a few meters, I noticed that another family member was traveling with us. Cherusya, as usual, was hiding at the bottom of the stroller. We didn't check it before leaving. On the street, Cherobass looked around in fear. Dad had to quickly bring the gulena home.

Offspring
Pregnancy in cats lasts about 2 months. Usually 3 - 6 kittens are born. They are toothless, blind and practically bald. In the second week of life, kittens begin to see, and in the third week their teeth erupt. Before teeth appear, babies feed only on the mother cat's breast milk.
