Three essays on the topic “My favorite season is autumn”

There are so many wonderful artistic scenes that colorful autumn in nature has given us. In the world around them, in 2nd grade, children begin to become acquainted with the features of this time, namely, changes in the appearance of plants, the behavior of animals and weather fluctuations. By working on an essay on this topic, the child not only broadens his horizons, but also saturates his speech with literary words.

Poetic time

Autumn is the heyday of the year. They sing about it, write poems about it and, of course, develop their writing talent based on its description. This is a scattering of colors that just beg to appear on the pages of lyrical works.

No school program is complete without a fall-themed message. In grade 2, students' vocabulary is not so rich, but the report allows them to learn to express their thoughts. Traditionally, creative works of this type are presented in the form of a description, and the narrative style must be exclusively artistic.

This style is easy to identify by the presence of epithets and metaphors, which give the images a special colorfulness and emotionality. There are a number of video tutorials explaining the principles of this artistic technique. But to use it fully, you need inspiration and an open mind that can find new options for interesting comparisons.

The description of autumn is an immense springboard for the creativity and work of lyricists. Professionals rely on their experience and vivid imagination, while young creators need a plan for a successful text.

A sample description cluster consists of several parts:

  • general changes in nature;
  • advantages and disadvantages of autumn;
  • visual picture;
  • personal attitude.

Based on the plan, you need to write an exemplary story about autumn in 2nd grade. You can borrow some techniques from famous works or eloquent writings by unknown authors.

Examples of essays based on Ostroukhov’s painting “Golden Autumn”, grade 2

Write your essays yourself. Please use the work below as an example only.

The painting by I.S. Ostroukhov depicts a forest in autumn. Of the colors that the author chose, yellow and burgundy stand out, of course. In the foreground there are two trees that stand close to each other, and one tree seems to have embraced the other standing next to it. In front of them on the ground lies a pile of leaves, colored yellow, red, burgundy and green. It’s hard for me to say which month of autumn this is, but it seems to me that it’s either the end of September or October, since the picture still exudes warmth, which usually no longer exists in November.

Trees can also be seen in the background. I noticed that these trees have an interesting shape, their branches seem to be slightly curved. Perhaps the author depicted this landscape for a reason; most likely, he wanted to tell the viewer something, however, we can only guess about it. Also, it’s hard not to notice three birds, magpies. Two of them are on the ground, and the third is observing them on a tree branch. You can also notice a narrow path on which magpies stand. Most likely, people frequent this place.

I really like this picture because it exudes a warm, calm mood. It seems to me that this picture teaches us to appreciate the nature around us, to appreciate it, to be able to see all the beauty and diversity.

Option 2

In the picture I.S. Ostroukhova Golden Autumn depicts autumn trees. My attention was immediately drawn to the maple leaves. They are bright yellow, even orange and very beautiful. Among the golden foliage you can see a path that leads to the river. The sun is reflected in the water. The shine of the water spreads throughout the picture. Looking at the picture, you can even feel its coolness. At the top of the picture the sky is visible. Because of the colorful leaves it is almost invisible, but it is light and beautiful. On the left in the picture are mighty oak trees, their trunks are like giants guarding the golden. There are other trees near the oaks, and they are also decorated with bright yellow leaves. There is a lot of yellow, orange, red and brown colors in the picture. I love autumn for its colors, for its bright and unusual colors for summer. Autumn is the time of rain, cold, dampness. But thanks to autumn you can see all the beauty of nature.

In this painting, the artist conveyed a beautiful autumn picture. At first glance, it seems that the foliage on the trees is not quite bright, it is rather yellow, but this is not so. I think that the artist deliberately used a lot of yellow leaves in order to convey the autumn mood. The trees are depicted in the form of a large group that stretches across the entire picture.

Option 3

In the picture I.S. Ostroukhova Golden Autumn depicts very beautiful maple leaves. The whole picture is covered with a golden carpet. But if you look closely, you can see a path leading to the forest. I really want to run along it and rustle the autumn leaves. The whole picture is pierced by golden threads of autumn rain, but despite this the trees are bright and glow in the sun. The author of the painting loves autumn very much and dedicated his masterpiece to it. Also, the author of the picture was an artist, this can be seen from how skillfully he was able to describe all the beauty of the golden autumn. Author of the painting “Golden Autumn” Artist I.S. Ostroukhov. The painting was painted in 1886. I really like it, but I think that many art lovers did not remain indifferent. I wouldn't mind walking along this path and rustling the autumn leaves.

In the center of the picture, two magpies are sitting on the path. It was no coincidence that they stopped here. They, like us, admire the beauty of the autumn forest.

My impressions of the picture are very good. She interested me. You can see a lot of subtle details on it.

September - a little more warmth

September opens the autumn season. The sun's rays still caress with warm light and in the prime of the day warm the surface of the earth as if summer had returned again. Snow-white cobwebs hover in the air, and the sky is illuminated by a magical blue.

The changes are felt gradually, shortening the length of the day and lengthening the night. The temperature, which remains high during the day, drops significantly at night. People are forced to take light outerwear out of the closet.

Flowers lose their freshness day by day, and herbs become depleted and acquire a yellowish tint. Larger plants are dressed in golden outfits and majestically reach for a portion of warm sunlight.

September is marked by the harvest , which is why this month is held in special esteem by the people. Juicy bulk fruits and vegetables delight you with abundance.

By flipping halfway through the month on the calendar, you can detect weather changes. The sky takes on a more severe outline, and clouds periodically appear against its background. Sometimes large gray clouds gather, which, having accumulated moisture, fall as rain.

Essay about the painting “Autumn”

Author: Dima, 4th grade

I think that the artist Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi, with his painting “Autumn,” wanted to convey all the beauty and transience of the most beautiful season. He depicted a forest in which some trees are painted crimson and gold, while others are still green. One such tree stands in the center of the picture. It’s as if it doesn’t want to let go of the hot summer and accept the imminent onset of cold weather. People often walk along the path that winds under this tree, although it is difficult to distinguish. And the clouds in the sky foreshadow rain.

October - festival of colors

October is the golden middle of autumn and the time when the warmth returns for a few days. This short-term return of summer is called “Indian summer.” The name takes its origins from the times of the peasantry, when complex field work was completed and women began their usual chores around the house.

This month is characterized by the following changes:

  1. The green color completely disappears, replaced by yellow and purple. The forests shimmer with colors.
  2. Towards the end of the month, the trees are gradually exposed, preparing for a period of renewal.
  3. The contrast in the air temperature increases: in daylight you still feel warm, but with the onset of dusk it becomes sharply colder.
  4. The second half of October is characterized by the first frosts. In the mornings you can see frost on the branches and roofs of houses. The puddles are covered in crisp ice.
  5. The wind becomes a frequent visitor. Gradually his character becomes gloomy and unfriendly.
  6. In anticipation of a sharp cold snap, insects rush to leave the surface of the earth and hide in its depths. Birds go to regions with a more hospitable climate.

This is what October looks like. The “Autumn” project in 2nd grade allows the child to expand his imaginative thinking and learn not only the definition of autumn and its component months, but also study the life of flora and fauna during this time period.

Essay on the theme “Autumn”

The beginning of autumn is the most beautiful and bewitching time. It creates a special mood : both solemn and sad.

The riot of colors amazes the imagination, but it is so fleeting. Because we know it won't last long. The trees will shed their variegated leaves and soon a harsh winter will begin.

The middle of the season is accompanied by long, heavy rains, the days gradually shorten and the length of the night increases. The last golden leaves are falling from the trees .

The end of this time of year is gloomy and frosty. Fallen golden, crimson, brown foliage is bound by frost. But this does not prevent autumn from retaining its charm and sad charm.

Important! Remember that the nature of early and late is sometimes different, so the narrative may contain a variety of descriptions. Primary school students are recommended to write an essay on the topic of Golden Autumn, and high school students are better off touching on the relationship between mood and autumn weather.

November is a fickle artist

This month is increasingly stingy with the sun's rays, and gives preference to the vagaries of the approaching winter. November is characterized by cold rain, giving way to sleet and strengthening of the ice crust on water bodies. The struggle between colorful autumn and inhospitable winter begins already in the middle of the month. Towards its end, the cold takes over.

The day significantly shortens its duration and gives preference to the night. Often the sky has no clearing, making the nights seem black. But when snow first covers the ground, the sky clears.

Every now and then, fancy crystal designs appear on the windows, which melt from direct sunlight.

The beauty of the vegetation is no longer visible to the eye. The trees are bare, the flowers and grass are depleted and dry. Only the life of pines and spruces is not subject to changes with the advent of frost. They are still full of greenery. Animals have grown lush fur that is resistant to low temperatures. Some of them hibernated for the winter.

4th grade essay based on Kuindzhi’s painting “Autumn”

Author: Angelina, 4th grade

I see in the picture a beautiful golden autumn, bright colored trees. But not all the trees are painted in the autumn palette. For example, the tree in the center is still completely green when the neighboring trees are already red or yellow. A small path winds among the trees, it is almost invisible. It seems that mushroom pickers often walk along it. But now there is no one, the weather is changing to autumn. There are clouds in the sky, and it seems that light rain is about to fall. It feels like these clouds bring cold with them. There are fewer and fewer people, and the temperature is getting lower.

School essay based on Kuindzhi’s painting “Autumn”

Author: Sveta, 4th grade

There is a green tree in the center of the picture. Its neighbors have already colored their leaves yellow and red, but it doesn’t want to change yet. Below it winds a small path, trodden by people. Perhaps they often walk along it to pick mushrooms. But the sky is not at all happy.

The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting worse, so clouds are already gathering in the sky. It seems that the cold autumn rain will begin soon. I think the author wanted to convey the mood of nature slowly falling asleep, which becomes so bright and beautiful before bedtime.

November

The last month of autumn is November, opening the way to winter. It is often called "motley" because the weather can be very changeable during this period. Within a short period of time there may be heavy rain, snow, frost, and a short thaw. This is how autumn struggles with the coming winter.

The main feature of November is the dark nights. But after the first snow covers the ground, they become lighter.

Rice. 3. First snow.

In November you can no longer find greenery anywhere: everywhere there are only remnants of withered grass and bare trees.

People give the last month of autumn many names: half-winter, jelly, leaf fall. And they all point to cold weather and the fast approach of winter. According to folk wisdom, if there is a lot of snow in November, you can hope for a good harvest. And the unexpected appearance of mosquitoes this month indicates a warm winter.
