The famous novel “The Master and Margarita” is rightfully considered the most iconic work of the twentieth century. After all, writers of all times constantly raised these problems, they always worried society.
At the very center of the novel, the great love of the Master and Margarita is illuminated. This female creature was a real example of those feelings that all lovers simply dream of seeing in each other.
It is possible to say about the Master that he is an ordinary romantic and is a writer. And Margarita is the true embodiment of femininity. The hearts of a man and a woman connected completely by accident. No one can interfere with the love between a woman and a man, it is so strong and sublime. It was quite difficult for them to find each other, but despite all the difficulties, the lord of the dark forces, Woland, still helps them find each other.
Great love is visible in every thread of the story. This can not only be seen in the woman’s great love for her master, for example, the master loves his book very much. Love is quite sad and sacrificial, present everywhere, for example, Pilate is very attached to his dog and loves it.

Subsequently, they cannot live without each other, only after Margarita appears in the master’s basement, he is charged with new colors of life, which are then embodied in his novel. Margarita is a wealthy woman, but she doesn’t need it at all; her husband’s love is not like that at all. And only when she meets the master, her life flows differently. Even though she is wealthy, she is alone in her world. And only a lonely master changes everything in her world. A woman is ready to do anything for her beloved, she even makes a deal with the devil.
Many critics are simply convinced that the most important theme in the novel is the manifestation of evil and good. In my opinion, love works wonders; even Woland cannot remain indifferent to this feeling. This feeling is strong enough and therefore capable of conquering everything, even death.
People who do not understand the depth of power and creativity gain a great feeling that connects their hearts. He has absolutely no place among the people of Soviet reality; they appear as unspiritual and immoral. As a result, lovers are given death as a relief from all fears and torments.
Love has always been an eternal feeling, the Master and Margarita find eternal peace.

At all times, the theme of love, one way or another, has been touched upon by authors of all literary genres, and the work of M.A. Bulgakov was no exception. In his novel “The Master and Margarita” Bulgakov shows that there are no boundaries for love, it overtakes us suddenly, it does not know the difference in the material situation of the heroes, nor the social statuses.
The master is poor both materially and in terms of family, friends and relatives. He has no one, he is completely alone. He once worked as a historian at a museum. One day, luck smiled at him - he won a large sum in the lottery and decided that it was time to make his cherished dream come true. And the Master dreamed of writing a book about Pontius Pilate. With the money he won, he rents an apartment and begins writing a book. It was during this period that he accidentally met Margarita, a wealthy married woman. There is everything in her life, but there is no love, and this can be read not only in her eyes, but also in her gait. The master, without noticing it, followed her. It was love, love at first sight, which strikes like lightning. He met the woman of his dreams, but was forced to remain silent about his love.
But everything secret becomes clear and Margarita, tired of living without love, threw herself into the Master’s arms, as if into a pool with her head. Life took on meaning and began to sparkle with bright colors. She had no children, and she gave all her unspent love and care to the Master, becoming for him not only his beloved woman, but also his muse. She always supported him in difficult moments. One of these moments was the rejection of his novel by metropolitan critics. He broke down, unable to adapt to the demands of the literary world.
When the Master disappeared, Margarita tried with all her might to find him, but all in vain. She returned to her husband, but did not stop hoping for the return of her beloved. Desperate, she made a pact with dark forces and turned into a witch. For the sake of reuniting with her beloved, she was ready to do anything. Having failed to become happy during life, they found each other again, but in the afterlife.
Love changed their lives forever. Love inspired the Master, and he worked on the novel with even greater zeal, and Margarita felt truly happy next to him. Despite all the hardships, they were ruled by love, which saved their souls. Margarita's selflessness and dedication for the sake of reuniting with her beloved blurred the boundaries of good and evil. This love was doomed from the very beginning; the heroes were supposed to find happiness and peace only after death.
The novel tells about true, sincere, sacrificial love. It would seem, why would Margarita lose her wealth, position in society and, finally, sell her soul to the Devil himself? Only a woman experiencing true feelings is capable of such a sacrifice.

Unusual Love
The love story of the Master and Margarita is quite unusual. First of all, because Woland himself acts as the lovers’ assistant.
The fact is that when love visited the couple in love, events began to develop in a completely different way than we would like. It turns out that the whole world around us is in favor of the couple not being happy. And it is at this moment that Woland appears. The relationship between lovers depends on the book written by the Master. At that moment when he tries to burn everything written, he still does not realize that the manuscripts do not burn, due to the fact that they contain truth. The master returns after Woland gives the manuscript to Margarita.
The girl completely surrenders to the great feeling, and this is the biggest problem of love. The Master and Margarita reached the highest level of spirituality, but for this Margarita had to give up her soul to the Devil.

Despite the prosperous life in the mansion, Margarita is not happy with her fate. She will prefer the Master’s basement to luxury, in which they sinfully love each other, breathe each other. But together, together. “Forgive me and forget me as soon as possible. I'm leaving you forever. Don't look for me, it's useless. I became a witch because of the grief and disasters that struck me. I have to go. Farewell,” writes Margarita to her husband, flying away towards her true happiness. She is driven not only by love, but also by a feeling of anger and resentment for the Master’s rejected romance. She destroys everything that comes to her hand, avenging her loved one.
In my opinion, Satan's ball is the main episode of the novel. It is he who makes it clear whether Margarita will be able to go through the entire ritual, whether she is worthy of the happiness of being with the Master. She puts clothes on her naked body that bring pain. She drinks blood from the goblet. She obediently offers her knee for the kisses of the dead. She shows mercy by forgiving Frida for her infanticide. Despite her sore feet, Margarita proudly steps and walks around the guests. How else? She is the queen and hostess of the ball! The heroine endures Satan's ball with dignity.
Margarita does not dare to remind Woland of the promise because she is proud. Even when the devil asks the question directly, she still answers that she doesn't need anything.
“Never ask for anything! Never and nothing, and especially among those who are stronger than you. They will offer and give everything themselves! Sit down, proud woman! - Woland said to Margarita’s proud silence.
Margarita’s only wish was voiced with a convulsive face:
“I want my lover, the master, to be returned to me right now, this very second!”
This was the desire to which the heroine went throughout the novel. This once again proves the purity of her thoughts and love. The author managed to convey Margarita’s emotional change through her remarks, which are full of repetitions, ellipses and exclamations. There was no limit to her happiness. But to the Master, all this seemed like a hallucination, so much did he not believe in the possibility of reuniting with his beloved again. Where did the proud woman go? Tears flowed from her eyes, some of happiness, some of grief and pity. But now they are together. They both know it.
Symbolically, the reunion of lovers was accompanied by the resurrected romance of the Master, because “manuscripts do not burn.” And if love is a manuscript that was written days and nights, the success of which was believed, and lived by, will it burn? The Master and Margarita, leaving together for the hard-won world of happiness, proved that true love will overcome anything: it will burn in flames, but will rise from the ashes.
