Sergei Sobyanin opened traffic on a new overpass on the South-Eastern Expressway section

Traffic has opened along the new overpass across the MCD-2 railway tracks on the section of the South-Eastern Expressway (SEH) from Ryazansky Prospekt to the Third Transport Ring (TTK). This is a key facility for the future route, the construction of which is already 40 percent complete.

Sergei Sobyanin emphasized that the South-Eastern Expressway is one of the largest road projects in the capital. The highway will connect the Southern Road, the North-Eastern Expressway and will stretch from Shcherbinka almost to the Entuziastov Highway.

“28 kilometers straight ahead. With exits and entrances - almost 100 kilometers, fifty engineering structures, traffic without traffic lights. This is a complex project that will improve traffic in almost 20 districts of Moscow; this, in fact, covers the entire southeast. It will improve traffic on the Third Ring Road and the Moscow Ring Road and reduce the huge flow of cars that today moves into the city center,” he noted.

Construction of the SE section from Ryazansky Prospekt to the Third Transport Ring began in December 2021. The length of the six-lane highway will be about 1.5 kilometers, excluding exits to adjacent streets. A total of five kilometers of roads will be built and reconstructed.

In addition, Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the builders on their upcoming professional holiday.

“Hundreds of thousands of Muscovites work in the construction complex, building housing, roads, kindergartens, schools, creating new jobs, in fact, creating a new Moscow, developing it for the benefit of the country, the city and, of course, its residents. I wanted to thank them for their professional and hard, but very important work, and wish them and their families success and health,” said Sergei Sobyanin.

Chord tracks of Moscow

The construction of new expressways - the North-Western Expressway, the North-East Expressway, the South-East Expressway and the Southern Expressway - is a key project for the development of Moscow's road network inside the Moscow Ring Road. The total length of the four chords will be 133 kilometers (the construction length is about 350 kilometers), which is comparable to the length of four Third Transport Rings. The chords will include 186 overpasses, tunnels and bridges, as well as 77 pedestrian crossings.

The chords will improve transport accessibility in 73 districts of Moscow, including dozens of renovation blocks. They will connect outbound highways and reduce congestion on interdistrict roads, the Third Transport Ring, and the Moscow Ring Road. By organizing traffic without traffic lights on most sections of highways and redistributing traffic flows, the average travel time around the city will be reduced by 20–25 percent. In addition, the highways will provide additional exits from the city to federal highways.

As of August 2021, 193 kilometers of roads (57 percent) have been put into operation, including 101 artificial structures and 54 pedestrian crossings. The construction of the North-West Expressway (83 kilometers, 32 artificial structures, 30 pedestrian crossings) has been fully completed. Traffic is open on six sections of the North-East Expressway (75 kilometers of roads, 60 artificial structures, 13 pedestrian crossings) and three sections of the Southern Expressway (31.5 kilometers of roads, eight artificial structures, 11 pedestrian crossings).

Essay on the meaning of the ending of the play at the bottom

Gorky's play "At the Lower Depths" is complex and very interesting. In this work, the author managed to combine everyday concreteness and symbols, real human characters and abstract philosophy. Throughout the play, problems of various sizes appear and develop before our eyes: from universal to personal. At the end of the work, the author reveals to us his position through the fates of the characters in the play. The image of the wanderer Luke played a huge role in the development of the plot. After his appearance in the shelter, a lot changed. Yes, Luke gives people pity, sweet lies... But what did all this lead to?... It seems to me that only dying Anna really needed a comforting lie. She suffered all her life and saw nothing good. And then, at thirty, she dies, tortured, “hackneyed.” And she cannot even do this in peace. Many inhabitants of the shelter adhere to the position that “noise is not a hindrance to death,” and no longer look at her as a living person. Naturally, in such conditions, Luka’s basic sympathy was important to her. The fate of another inhabitant of the shelter, the Actor, is no less tragic. This is a man who was once a servant of Melpomene. After leaving the theater, he began to drink and sink lower and lower. This person has no willpower, he lacks even basic strength to quit harmful drunkenness. He prefers to take the path of least resistance and forget about his thirst for the stage, rather than try to bring everything back. He has nothing else to be proud of, except for the phrase that his “body is poisoned by alcohol.” Due to the weakness of his nature, having fallen to the bottom of life, it is easier for him to continue to destroy himself than to fight life’s difficulties. When Luka gives him hope by talking about a free clinic for alcoholics, the Actor stops drinking: “Today I worked, swept the street... but I didn’t drink vodka! What's it like? Here they are - two five-altyn, and I’m sober! Having learned of the futility of his hopes, the actor hangs himself, not realizing that he did not need the clinic, he just needed to believe in himself. The fate of the Actor clearly echoes the parable about the search for a righteous land. In this parable we are talking about the fact that a scientist, who destroyed the faith in the righteous land of one of its seekers, destroyed this man: he hanged himself after his illusion dissipated. Luke understood this in such a way that a person needs faith in something in order to have the strength to live in any conditions, a person must believe in the best... Yes, this is true, but for this it is not necessary to give illusory hopes. This is a very passive philosophy that is not capable of changing life for the better. Of course, everyone in a difficult situation wants to hear words of consolation, but these same words should also inspire a person to change, to take action, and not reassure him that all this is not so bad. A person needs to believe in himself, and for this Luke chose the wrong position. We can see this through the fate of the Actor. Yes, the wanderer inspired him to quit drinking, but he did not help the Actor to believe in himself. And so, having learned about the unreality of his fantasies, the hero commits suicide. In principle, we can say that Luke simply accelerated the logical conclusion of this man’s life. Gorky tells us that it is false hope that can lead a person to a noose. Luka tells Vaska Pepl wonderful tales about Siberia, encouraging him to go there and start a new life with Natasha. Vaska is inspired and wants to put an end to his thieves' past. Yes, at the end of the play he ends up in Siberia, but only as a convict. And it is unlikely that if he returns alive, he will be able to lead a righteous and honest life. And he will certainly never see Natasha again in his life... Having pushed Vaska Ash to kill her husband, Vasilisa emerges as the only winner. She achieves all her goals at once in one fell swoop: she takes revenge on her former lover Ash and her rival Natasha, gets rid of her unloved husband and becomes the sole mistress of the shelter. There is nothing human left in Vasilisa, and her moral impoverishment shows the monstrosity of the social conditions in which both the inhabitants of the shelter and its owners are immersed. And we guess that when this woman is in power, the already hellish life of the night shelters will become completely unbearable. The transformation of Satin at the end of the work is very interesting. Satin is a skeptic. He is apathetic and passive in life. His protest is a call to “do nothing.” “I’ll give you one piece of advice: don’t do anything! Just - burden the earth!..” Satin was not just thrown to the “bottom”. He himself came there and settled there. It's more convenient for him. And so he lives in the basement and drinks and loses his abilities. By nature, Satin is endowed with a lively mind and the ability to think. But Luke was able to miraculously reveal the potential hidden in this hero: “Yes, it was he, the old yeast, who fermented our roommates... Old man? He is smart!.. The old man is not a charlatan! What is truth? Man - that's the truth! He understood this... you don’t!.. He... acted on me like acid on an old and dirty coin...” Satin also condemns comforting lies: “Lies are the religion of slaves and masters...”; “Truth is the god of a free man!”; “man is the truth!”; “Only man exists, everything else is the work of his hands and brain! Human! It's great! That sounds… proud!” But what is a person for Satin? “What is a person?.. It’s not you, not me, not them... no! - it’s you, me, them, the old man, Napoleon, Mohammed... in one!” But Satin’s romantic dream of a proud, free, strong Man is contrasted with the reality of his life, his character. What will a meeting with Luka change in the life of this hero? I'm afraid nothing. Yes, in words he takes a more active life position, but that’s where all the changes end. Thus, in the finale, Gorky wants to show us his rejection of a passive life position, when a person prefers to drown his suffering with wine rather than solve problems with real actions. The author also wants to show us the danger of “gentle lies,” which can drive a person into a noose even faster than awareness of harsh reality. I share Gorky’s thoughts, his life position is close to me. I believe that you can get out of any difficult situation only when you don’t give up.

From Entuziastov Highway to Warsaw Highway without traffic lights

The construction of a new city highway, the South-East Expressway, is the largest project for creating road transport infrastructure in the coming years. The length of its main course will be about 28 kilometers. In total, taking into account the exits and reconstruction of the adjacent road network, about 100 kilometers of roads, 55 artificial structures with a length of 22 kilometers and 11 pedestrian crossings will be built.

The opening of the YVH will complete the work on the formation of a system of chord highways in Moscow - new roads in the middle part of the city, which will become an alternative to the Moscow Ring Road, the Third Transport Ring and travel through the historical center.

The South-Eastern Expressway will run from Entuziastov Highway to Varshavskoe Highway, connecting the North-East Expressway, Ryazansky Prospekt, Third Transport Ring, Volgogradsky Prospekt, Shosseynaya Street, Kashirskoe Highway, Kaspiyskaya Street, Yuzhnaya Rokada, Podolskiy Kursantov and Lipetskaya streets, the Moscow Ring Road with access to TiNAO through highway Solntsevo - Butovo - Varshavskoe highway.

The chord will improve transport services for residents of 22 districts: Nizhny Novgorod, Lefortovo, Perov, Ryazan, Sokolinaya Gora, Pechatnikov, Yuzhnoportovoy, Tekstilshchikov, Nagatinsky Zaton, Kuryanov, Maryin, Lublin, Moskvorechya-Saburov, Tsaritsyn, Orekhovo-Borisov Northern, Biryulev Western, Northern and Southern Chertanov, Northern and Southern Butov, Danilovsky, Nagatino-Sadovnikov. About 2.5 million people live there.

The South-Eastern Expressway is divided into 10 sections, nine of which are currently under construction. These are the areas:

— from Entuziastov Highway to Ryazansky Prospekt;

— from Ryazansky Prospekt to the Third Transport Ring;

— from Grayvoronovskaya street to Shosseynaya street;

— from Shosseynaya Street to Polbina Street;

— from Polbina Street to Kuryanovsky Boulevard;

— from Kuryanovsky Boulevard to Kantemirovskaya Street, including the transport interchange at the intersection with Kashirskoye Highway and South Rokada;

— from Marshal Shestopalov Street to the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway (MZD);

— from the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway to the Moscow Ring Road;

- from the Moscow Ring Road to the Solntsevo - Butovo - Varshavskoe highway.

Another section is currently being designed - along Kaspiyskaya Street from Kantemirovskaya Street to the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway. The construction of the highway is planned to be completed by the end of 2023.
