F. Reshetnikov painted the painting “Deuce Again” in 1952. The war had recently ended, and the children needed an education.
The painting depicts a family: a mother and three children. The main character of the picture is a boy who has just come from school. The boy is dressed in a winter coat, dark school trousers and black boots with snow still visible. There is no hat on his head, only unruly curls stick out. In the boy’s hand is a briefcase tied with twine. Skates peek out from the briefcase. Most likely, the boy loves skating more than studying. The hero’s face is unhappy, he looks away because he is ashamed.
A girl in a strict school uniform stands at a table covered with a beautiful light tablecloth. She has a red pioneer tie tied around her neck. Her hair is neatly braided into two braids with black bows. This is the older sister of the hero of the picture. She has just come from school, takes out her textbooks and is about to do her homework. She looks like an excellent student and looks at her brother disapprovingly.
The boy's mother sits on a chair with her hands on her knees. A woman does housework. She is wearing a light blouse and a dark skirt, with an orange apron on top. She has a blue scarf on her head and slippers on her feet. We can assume that the mother was preparing dinner when her son came home from school. Mom looks at the boy with condemnation and pity.
Little brother rides around the house on a bicycle. He drove up to his mother and is waiting to see what will happen next. The bicycle is two-wheeled, light brown in color. The boy is dressed in brown trousers and a white and blue shirt. He is neatly trimmed.
A dog jumps on the boy's chest; she rejoices at his arrival and wants him to pet her. The dog's coat is white with large red spots.
The room where everyone gathered is not very large, but bright. There is a carpet on the floor. There are small pictures and a wall calendar hanging on the walls. A table lamp is visible in the back of the room. The door to the next room is open. You can see the window there. There is a large green flower on it.
Option for 2nd grade
The main character of the film “Again deuce!” - the boy is a poor student. All the attention of the family is directed towards him.
The student just came home. He looks shabby. He is wearing a brown coat. Hair is wet. Cheeks burn after frost. The eyes are lowered and looking down. He doesn't move. Afraid of mother's wrath.
His mother, tired from homework, looks at him. She has a scarf on her head. There is an apron on top of the dress. She sat down to rest. She has order in the house. There is sadness on her face, she is tired of struggling with her son’s bad attitude towards his studies.
An excellent student, his sister looks at him reproachfully. She feels sorry for her poor mother. She has her textbooks neatly laid out. She is a diligent student. Now she is ready to do her homework. Her mother is proud of her success.
Only a domestic dog is happy with his friend. She is glad to her owner with any marks. A friendly dog invites a kind boy to play.
Little brother smiles. He sits on a bicycle and does not know how difficult it is to study.
In his soul he feels guilty. But, he can't help it. Apparently he doesn't do his homework well. He spends a lot of time outside. He fights with a briefcase. There are skates inside the briefcase. On the street, he didn’t think that he needed to do his homework. I only remembered when I came home.
The situation around is tense. Everyone is tired of feeling sorry for the “woeful student”!
I like the picture. She makes you think about not getting the boy into trouble. To do this, you need to learn lessons! And obey your parents! Be neat and diligent.
Reshetnikov Again, deuce description
The painting “Deuce Again” has become iconic for the artist, his best work, which everyone in our country knows very well. The hero of the picture has become a household name for all poor students. Those who study poorly are compared to an unfortunate boy who, instead of being blamed for bad grades, evokes sympathy in the viewer.
In the foreground of the picture is the poor student himself. He is wearing a brown coat. A black school uniform peeks out from under winter clothes. In his hands is a briefcase, from which, instead of textbooks, skates peek out. In this way, the artist emphasized that the boy, instead of doing his homework, likes to play hockey with his friends.
A faithful friend, a dog, stood on his hind legs nearby. The dog doesn’t care what kind of mark the owner brought home. He loves and appreciates him regardless of his performance.
The boy's mother is sitting on a chair. The expression on her face cannot be called angry, angry, or strict. Rather, she looks at him with regret and sympathy, because she is simply tired of struggling with the fact that the boy does not want to study, and thinks: “What should I do with you, son?”
The younger brother looks at the schoolboy with a sly smile. He sits on the bike and watches his older brother feel awkward. He himself does not go to school yet, and he finds it funny that his older brother is such a slob and is regularly scolded at home for bad grades.
In the background is the older sister. The girl is deliberately shown in a school uniform, with a tie and textbooks in her hands. By all appearances, she is an excellent student. People like her brother only cause her condemnation, and she believes that poor students should be scolded, punished and condemned. The girl is ashamed that she, an excellent student and an exemplary student, got such a brother who disgraces the whole family.

Essay description of the painting Again a deuce grade 6
The theme of children occupies a special place in the artist’s work. The object of our essay will be one of Reshetnikov’s most famous paintings, “Deuce Again,” where we see an ordinary Soviet family.
In the foreground of the painting is a boy dressed in a black coat and trousers, with tousled hair, protruding red ears and cheeks from the frost. He stands with a downcast look and holds a disheveled briefcase in his hands, from which his skates treacherously peek out. Everything would seem fine, everyone is busy with their own affairs, but when he goes home and sees his mother, he feels treacherously ashamed. I’m ashamed that I didn’t prepare for the lesson, that I traded homework for skating.
His faithful dog runs up to the boy, wagging his tail, as if flirting, he stands on his hind legs. The dog seems to feel all the sadness that torments the boy and with all his appearance shows that he feels sorry for him. This suggests that the boy is not a bully or a tomboy, but a kind fellow who is loved by his faithful dog.
Also one of the main characters is the boy’s mother. We see her in ordinary home clothes, with an apron tied over her. Hair is gathered under a scarf. Her whole appearance suggests that she was busy with household chores and, tired, sat down to rest. It is clear from the look that the mother is not angry with her son, but only angry and at a loss as to what he lacks to fulfill his duties. There is sadness and love in the eyes, because no deuce can change this.
The older sister, unlike her brother, looks clean and tidy. She apparently recently came from school and is therefore dressed in a school uniform. The picture shows the moment how the sister is laying out her school supplies, apparently getting ready to do her homework. The look directed at the boy is strict and stern, because unlike her brother, she is an excellent student and does not upset her mother. The younger brother, riding a bicycle, is smiling and cheerful; due to his age, he cannot yet understand the whole essence of the world around him.
Thus, we see how full of Reshetnikov’s paintings are with meaning, how vividly every gesture and facial expression of the characters is filled. After seeing the characters depicted, we feel only good feelings. The picture makes us think about our attitude not only to school and life in general, but also about our attitude towards our family. After all, whether we please or upset our parents will depend only on the correctness of our actions.
The work of Fyodor Reshetnikov is filled with warmth and brightness of colors. Regardless of the chosen painting, we see how multifaceted and professional creativity is. Looking at his paintings, we are transported back in time, to the old Soviet times. It shows how people lived, their life and problems. The warmth of that time emanates from them and you can see how our heroes are depicted in detail, each is an individual with pronounced features. After all, the artist spent quite a long time studying each character thoroughly and portraying him in the right role.

Who painted the painting Deuce Again
The author of the painting, which almost everyone in our country knows, is the Soviet painter Fyodor Pavlovich Reshetnikov (1906-1988). F. P. Reshetnikov is considered one of the main representatives of socialist realism in painting. His most famous works include “Arrived for Vacation”, “Re-Examination”, “Boys”, “For Peace!”, “Generalissimo of the Soviet Union I.V. Stalin” and others. But the artist’s most famous painting, which is his “calling card” and known to everyone since school, is “Deuce Again.”
In what year was the painting Two Again written?
The painting “Deuce Again” was painted in 1952. Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 101 × 93 cm. Located in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow.
History of the painting Again a deuce
The work became the second in a trilogy of paintings, the first of which was “Arrived for Vacation”, and the third was “Re-exam”.
Arrived on vacation
If you look at all three paintings, you can see that in the painting “Deuce Again” there is a reproduction of the painting “Arrived for Vacation”, and in “Reexamination” there is a reproduction of “Deuce Again”. Thus, the artist pointed out the continuity of the plot of the paintings and their unified concept.
Resit
The first painting, “Arrived for Vacation,” was painted in 1948. An excellent Suvorov student comes home for vacation and reports to his grandfather about his arrival. In the second picture, Reshetnikov also decided to paint an excellent student, thereby showing the younger generation that replaces the older generation and shows excellent success. If everything had happened like this, the film would have been called “The Five Again,” but during the development of the plot, Reshetnikov decided to change the plan.
To find images for a new painting, Fyodor Reshetnikov went to school. The teachers sat him at the last desk, where he observed what was happening and made sketches. The students, when they saw a stranger in the class, began to feel embarrassed, because they thought that this was some important person who had arrived at the school for an inspection. The teacher called the excellent student to the board and asked him a simple problem, which he should have solved quite easily. However, the excellent student was so embarrassed that he could not utter a word, stood with his head down, twirled the chalk in his hands and did not understand the tips of his classmates. This behavior of the boy inspired the artist to come up with a much more interesting plot - to show not an excellent student, but a poor student, who can evoke more vivid emotions in the viewer.
Reshetnikov decided to write a scene with a poor student in class. At first I drew a teacher, but then I thought that the school mostly employs female teachers, and redrew it to a teacher. And yet, he didn’t like something in his sketches. The classroom scene seemed boring to him. Then the idea came to him to transfer the whole plot to the family, because the poor student would probably experience the most intense emotions not in front of teachers and classmates, but in front of his mother, who would be ashamed to look him in the eye and admit that with his grades he had again disgraced the whole family.
Now Reshetnikov was faced with the task of finding a hero for the film. For some reason, he did not draw that same boy at the blackboard, but only took his image. The role of the poor student was played by the son of the artist Gustav Klutsis, who lived next door, and the painting depicts Klutsis’s apartment.
The story with the dog is interesting. It is known that Reshetnikov could not get the dog to stand on its hind legs. Sausage helped him with this. The artist took a piece of sausage, raised it above the dog, and it rose on its hind legs. According to those who knew the artist, the dog in this picture was not painted by him, but by another famous artist - A. A. Plastov (1893-1972).

Essay on the painting Again the deuce of F.P. Reshetnikov: description and analysis of the artistic canvas
In the painting "Deuce Again" we see a boy of about ten years old who has returned home from school. He looks confused. He just announced that he got a bad grade today. The boy shyly turned away from his family and lowered his eyes. He is greeted at home by his family and his faithful dog. Each of the characters reacts differently to the news of the next deuce. The upset mother looks at him with sad eyes. Powerless to do anything, she dropped her hands to her knees. It can be seen that she repeatedly tried in different ways to force her son to study well. She wears an orange apron over her home clothes. Most likely, before her son arrived, she was doing household chores. And now she sat down on a chair with fatigue. But even though the woman is upset, you can still see from her face that she loves her naughty son.
And the older sister looks at him reproachfully. She apparently helped him with his homework more than once. It is clear that the girl is diligent and studies well. When she came home from school, the first thing she did was lay out her textbooks and notebooks from her briefcase. She is also wearing a brown school dress with a white collar, a black apron and a pioneer tie. The hair is braided into two braids with black ribbons and large bows at the ends. The girl is worried about her mother. Most likely, it will be she who will now begin to speak sternly with her brother so that he corrects his bad grades.
On the right on the canvas next to the woman we see another son of hers, about five years old. He rides around the room on a bicycle. He is wearing a yellow-blue jacket and dark red pants. The boy looks at his older brother with a smile on his face. Most likely he is glad that no one has given him a bad grade because of his age.
Only the dog is happy about the arrival of his owner and tries to at least somehow support him. The dog stands on its hind legs and rests its front legs on the boy’s chest. Her fur is white with red-brown spots. The fluffy tail is raised up. The red muzzle looks trustingly into the owner's face. It seems that as soon as he bends down, the dog will immediately lick him with his tongue.
But the main character does not react to his faithful friend. Feelings of guilt and remorse are visible on the young face. It is clear from his flushed face that he is ashamed. He again did not live up to his mother's expectations. Maybe because of my laziness or forgetfulness, I didn’t prepare for the lesson, for which I received an ill-fated D.
The boy had not yet had time to undress, he just took off his hat. This can be seen in his blond, tousled hair. He is wearing a brown coat with a fur collar and black trousers, and shoes that are polished to a shine. In his hands he holds a brown briefcase tied with twine. Skates peek out from the briefcase. Most likely, after school the boy had already gone skating.
The artistic canvas shows a fairly typical plot from the life of a schoolchild. The author managed to convey the feelings experienced by the main character. The audience even develops a feeling of compassion towards him. Maybe because almost everyone has had their bad points in life. Overall, the picture turned out to be touching and heartfelt.
