Art is something sublime and beautiful that helps a person to experience all the beauty of this world. These include paintings, sculptures, architecture, films, and especially music and literature.
Some people do not understand art and prefer to live real life, getting entangled in everyday problems. Such people are doomed to an empty existence, because such concepts as the beauty of nature, the shimmer of colors or the sound of a violin are inaccessible to them. For them, all this simply does not matter. It is much more important, in their opinion, to devote time to science and work.
Others consider art to be the main asset of a person, and cannot exist without it. Such people are delighted as soon as they see the first edition of an ancient book or an original painting by Vincent Van Gogh himself.
But there is a third category of people. These are the ones who create works of art. First of all, these are amazing and talented people who were born geniuses. Such a person was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who composed famous musical works. Such people include Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, who became an idol of classical Russian literature. The list of talented people who created amazing works of art is endless. After all, throughout the existence of the world, art has been created. Initially, these were cave paintings, myths and legends, later they became frescoes and various architectural structures, and finally, it came to paintings, music and literature. And already at the end of the 19th century cinema appeared. All this is art history. Something that is extremely important for the human race and its development. After all, it is art that allows a person to see the beauty of the world.
Looking at the picture in the gallery, we see the depths of the sea, the inaccessibility of space, the beauty of human existence. Listening to a piece of music, a person can hear the sound of waves, the trill of a nightingale and the sound of the wind. Art is an extension of nature. It helps a person to think about the beautiful, to see it in the little things.
Without art, man would have long ago plunged into a soulless world. Therefore, it is very important to protect and create cultural monuments around the world. New galleries, museums, cinemas - all this is very important. After all, it is thanks to art that a person remains human.

Art is a complex concept that each person understands in his own way. It can be material and spiritual, but in both cases it brings incredible sensations and pleasure to the individual. The origin of art occurred in ancient times, when people, trying to convey what they saw, painted on the walls of caves.
Understanding art is labor intensive and involves many components. It awakens feelings and emotions in a person that transform a person’s inner spiritual world. When these feelings appear, a person’s life becomes more beautiful and takes him into a fantasy world. In my opinion, art can be different. This is a talent in artistic direction with which famous creators have surprised many eras. Such paintings have no price, since their inner meaning is not easy to achieve, but by understanding its spiritual component, one will be enriched.
The writers' works are truly magnificent. Their adaptations in plays and on television leave a residue in the soul of every person. The ability to penetrate deep into the soul and touch all the secret corners of the soul is available to a person gifted with talent. When people are physically and mentally exhausted, art allows them to survive this difficult moment, as well as give impetus to swift action.
Architecture is also a fundamental branch of art. Talent makes it possible to see in an ordinary block of marble a future statue or monument to a great person. And the deserts in Egypt, collected from stones and the labor of slaves, inspire us with hidden interest, since it is impossible to imagine how at that time, without power devices, it was possible to build such high and majestic monuments.
The direction of choreography is also very popular in the world. Every day there are more and more people involved in the dance cycle. Modern parents consider this type of art one of the most developmental, so at an early age they send their children to various clubs.
The influence of art is incomparable, as it can make us cry, laugh, be sad and even throw out accumulated emotions. Sometimes it makes you perform feats or rush headlong into this penetrating depth. Awareness of art depends entirely on the person himself, how open and ready he is for new achievements and feelings. It occupies an essential place in any society. Art brings pleasure and allows you to show all your positive sides and qualities.
What is Real Art
Regardless of the existing era, fashion, styles and genres, a fairly wide range of the fruits of human creativity can be considered real art, leaving a mark on history and generating love and reverence in the hearts of devoted connoisseurs.
Of course, the concept is quite broad, because it concerns music, cinema, sculpture, painting, and architecture. Only one thing is important - if the activity of a creative person resonates in the hearts of people, if it is sweet and close to them, evokes a wide range of emotions, experiences and feelings - then it can rightfully be called “real art”.
What are the distinctive features of real art?
• True art touches the soul - always, in any era, under any circumstances. As we can see, Pushkin’s poems, Vysotsky’s songs, Bulgakov’s novels do not get worse over the years, but on the contrary, they continue to excite the souls of more and more new fans. But this does not mean that the creations of young, modern authors cannot be called art. No! It’s not about age or era – the main thing is the quality of creativity. Let's say you can read voraciously both Honore de Balzac and Nick Perumov - and this does not mean that one of the creative units in this case is stronger than the other;
• True art is immortal - it really is. Jim Morrison, Yanka Diaghileva, Egor Letov, Alexander Bashlachev - it is unlikely that during the time of their creativity these people thought that they would become idols of millions! Surely, they could not even imagine that their songs would be covered even 20 years after their death! The same goes for the classics: Tyutchev, Fet, Mayakovsky, Yesenin - they could hardly imagine that in 2019 their poems would be recited by heart. However, the driving force here is different: a genius creates because he cannot do otherwise;
• Real art does not accept self-interest - partly so... However, it is difficult to deny the fact that musicians, writers, poets also need financial encouragement. After all, this is a job like any other. Therefore, those people who believe that masterpieces can be created only “for an idea”, without expecting royalties, are blatantly lying, and to themselves. Even high-quality, true art does not deny the fact that it needs payment! No! On the contrary, it is quite logical if a person whose work has earned great respect and honor receives profit from it (and after his death, his descendants).
• Real art has a positive mission - it has a beneficial effect on the formation of the worldview of the younger generation, motivates self-development, self-realization and new achievements;
• True art contributes to spiritual enrichment and personal development;
• Real art gives birth to real art - it also happens, because any unique person, a genius, has very talented followers who, relying on his ideas, begin to bring to the masses their own, albeit different, but also very significant creativity.
Real art is devoid of:
- vulgarity and vulgar things;
- Earthy images, metaphors and word forms;
- Nonsense (often objects of real art have a meaning);
- Plagiarism (there may be references and borrowings, but in no case direct theft of material);
- Pathos and arrogance (the author always keeps himself on par with the reader/listener, although he brings him some instructive thoughts and doctrines);
- Secondary nature (even if in the work of every great person there are not only masterpieces, but geniuses are remembered not by their “passable” creations, but by their incredibly successful creations)
Of course, there is no clear gradation of works that could be called real art. It's a matter of taste. Therefore, it is quite possible to include among them both the works of classics and contemporaries. One thing is clear: what is destined to be called real art will not sink into oblivion, will not dissolve over the centuries, but, on the contrary, will win the recognition of more and more new fans even after the death of the author.

Art is what a person creates to show his inner and surrounding world. Many things can be classified as art: cinema, theater, architecture and more.
There are people who don't pay attention to art and live their real lives. Many people do not take such people seriously, because they do not see beauty in anything, and are doomed to exist in their gray world. They do not notice the true beauty of nature, the glare of water, the early dawn and more. They consider it unimportant and prefer to pay more attention to their work. But other people cannot imagine their life without art, since art for them is the main component of life. These people are often speechless if they have a centuries-old copy in their hands. They also admire when they come to museums and art galleries.
There is still a third part of people. These are the creators who reproduce into the world what we consider a work of art. Such a person can be called smart or even a genius. Such people include Beethoven, Bach, Rublev and many other creative personalities. They painted pictures and composed various symphonies and sonatas. The great Russian writer Alexander Pushkin can be attributed to this class of people. This man became the embodiment of Russian classical literature. We could list great people for a long time, but we have looked at only a few of the most diverse types of art. The history of art begins almost from the Stone Age, because it was then that art was born. For many thousands of years, art did not disappear anywhere, but took on different forms and embodiments. We can consider that cinema is a fairly new direction in art. It appeared quite recently at the beginning of the twentieth century. After all, it is art that allows you to look back many years.
When we come to the gallery, we enjoy the beauty of the paintings. Listening to opera, we hear the sounds of nature. The astronaut enjoys the beauty of space and cannot stop looking at its depth. In the nineteenth century there was even a theory of pure art. She assumed that art was more valuable than life. And a writer like Chernyshevsky dispelled this theory into dust. What is art? I think art is the creativity of one person, which is understandable and close to all humanity. But what distinguishes real art from mastery? Yes, undoubtedly, every creator is a master of his craft. But still, art is not just a skill, real art is feelings and emotions. The spark is what distinguishes true art from false. And every person can see and feel this spark. The power of art is to unite human souls. It is no coincidence that L.N. Tolstoy wrote: “Great objects of art are great because they are understandable to everyone.”
Many writers use the theme of art to reveal the personality and feelings of the characters. For example, A.I. Kuprin, in the story “The Garnet Bracelet,” showed how art helps completely different people understand each other. The modest official Zheltkov suffered from unhappy love for Vera Sheina. The woman was confused and frightened by his love; she admitted more than once that life would be easier if he did not exist. It is not surprising that Vera’s husband was against the obsessive admirer. The bracelet that he gave to the woman for her birthday became a reason for a serious conversation. Of course, Zheltkov understood Vera’s position and realized his guilt before her family, but, unfortunately, he could no longer do anything about his feelings. He chose to die rather than betray them. Zheltkov asked Vera in a letter to fulfill her last request: to listen to Beethoven’s second sonata. The woman complied with his request, and it was at that moment that she understood the feelings that he was experiencing. "Everything is fine. He forgave me...” said Vera, and for a moment this man became closer to her than those who had lived with her all her life. Using this example, we can be convinced that real art is the same for everyone, it connects the souls of people with an invisible thread, and one melody can sometimes express what cannot be expressed in thousands of words.
However, art is not necessarily the creation of a great genius. It lives in each of us, and this is proven by L.N. Tolstoy in the novel “War and Peace”. Suffice it to recall the wonderful dance of Natasha Rostova in her uncle’s house. It was not a refined and arrogant waltz, it was an expression, an impulse of the soul. What does it matter that her movements were awkward when there was so much feeling, so much energy in each of them! P. Picasso said: “The purpose of art is to blow away the dust of everyday life from the soul.” Indeed, it was a very ordinary evening with familiar conversations, with songs familiar to everyone. But it is this episode that I consider one of the most emotional in the entire novel. A simple dance made the everyday bright and sensual. This example shows that true art lives in every person. Life will be much more interesting if you stop hiding art.
To summarize, I would like to say that real art elevates the soul, no matter whether you create it yourself or enjoy the creativity of another. Masterpieces of music, painting, and literature are close to everyone. I believe that true art is intimate and personal, but at the same time the same for everyone.
Reasoning
Art is an integral part of our world, without it our life will become dull, gray and joyless. After all, cinema, television, literature, as well as theater, are our boundless, worldwide heritage, without which our cultural and moral development would be impossible. Even in the caves of ancient people, drawings were found that indicate the presence of painting in the everyday life of ancient people. Which testifies to the origin of art, from the most ancient times. Well, what is true, real art? This is a very complex question that an ordinary person, including myself, cannot fully answer broadly. But it’s still worth a try.
If you look up the word art on the Internet or in a dictionary, you can easily find many definitions. And if we generalize them all, we will come to the conclusion that this word denotes any type or type of activity in which a person displays his internal images and thoughts. From which we can conclude that any of us, engaged in creative activities, is directly related to art. But then another question arises: what then is real art? Most likely, in answering this question, you will have to compare different forms of manifestation of art. Take, for example, a little girl who paints her first picture. On the other hand, a professional, experienced artist who knows how to create beautiful portraits and paintings. Then we can safely assume that the artist is engaged in real art than the girl. After all, he draws professionally. The difference is obvious, but then why are many artists involved in fine arts, they paint so many paintings, but no one really admires them? Yes, they are correct, and, so to speak, competently executed. But if we again take the example of a child who can draw a picture of his family, it is not empty the first time, but it is done sincerely and with love. It may not be very beautiful, but it will be from the heart. And his whole family will appreciate this drawing as the most outstanding masterpiece. And now we can say with confidence that the child is creating real art.
Based on the above, I want to summarize my thoughts. It seems to me that it is not important how skillfully and accurately you perform any creative work, because we are not computers or typewriters. The main thing is to fulfill from the heart, with love and respect what you strive for and what you do. And let it not be appreciated by the millions of people, but only by a few of the most dear people. And even if no one sees it, you will know that you put into the picture, the uniqueness of your personality and a part of yourself.
