As you know, the beginning of the nineteenth century was marked by the incredible popularity of adventure stories and novels. Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, who created a novel about a worthy robber, did not deviate from this trend. In his famous work, the outstanding writer touches on many social problems. So, among them the following clearly stand out: the problem of lawlessness, the conflict of generations, the problem of protecting one’s own honor and dignity, and so on. Alexander Sergeevich also reflects on serfdom, analyzing the attitude of Dubrovsky and Troekurov towards the peasants.
It is easy to see that Dubrovsky and Troekurov have many similarities. So, for example, both heroes are representatives of the same class. In addition, the characters received an excellent education, were military men, and in their youth they were even friends. However, despite these similarities, the heroes differed in their financial situation. It was this difference that influenced the behavior, views and characters of the characters. Unlike Dubrovsky, Troekurov was a wealthy man and was further from the people. The difference between the two main characters can be seen especially clearly in the comparison of their attitude towards the peasant people.
